The Ad Makers
This position is only for art people who genuinely love advertising.
If you’re still questioning it—apply somewhere else.
We’re looking for an Art Director—someone who brings ideas to life with beauty, clarity, and stories that move people and make the brand irresistible to buy into. You create not just to express, but to convert—emotion into attention, and attention into action.
⸻
👁️ Art Skills & Taste
You see beauty and stories in everything. You move through life collecting sparks, shaping feelings, and using those to create and express:
1. You find creative sparks in random places—overheard conversations, a weird shadow on the wall, a half-melted candle.
2. You care how things look, but more importantly, how they feel—you can sense when something’s off, even before you can explain it.
3. You get excited by new things—new fonts, new films, new cities, new packaging at a supermarket.
4. You like to mix things that shouldn’t work together—and somehow make it work.
5. You’re naturally curious. You ask why things look the way they do, and how they could look better.
6. You don’t just want to make things “cool.” You want to make things people remember—even if they don’t know why.
⸻
🛠 Hard Skills
This is your creative toolbox:
1. Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator – fluent. No excuses.
2. Midjourney or AI tools – for turning sparks into visuals, fast.
3. Deck design – clean, persuasive, impossible to scroll past.
4. Presentation skills – must. You can sell the story, not just show the slides.
5. After Effects & Premiere Pro – at least 70% fluent. You don’t need to animate full campaigns, but you do need to shape the frame.
6. You know your way around a shoot—camera angles, wardrobe, set decisions—enough to keep visuals on-brand and on-story.
