We are looking for a driven Business Development Associate / Senior Associate to join our Business Development team. This is a revenue-generating role focused on a combination of client acquisition, account management, and solution-based sales across key industries.
You will manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from identifying opportunities and engaging clients to developing tailored solutions and closing deals. This role requires the ability to handle structured and complex client requirements, including proposals, RFQs, and customised workforce solutions, while building long-term client relationships.
What you’ll do
- Build and grow B2B client relationships, focusing on account expansion, retention, and long-term partnerships
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including discovery, solutioning, proposal development (RFQs/tenders), negotiation, and closing
- Deliver customised client solutions and drive account growth through upselling, cross-selling, and strong internal collaboration
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and develop new opportunities across sectors including F&B, Retail, Grocery, Events, Logistics, and HR Staffing Tech
- Generate leads through a combination of targeted outreach (cold calling, email, LinkedIn), networking, and referrals
- Maintain a structured and healthy pipeline of opportunities to support consistent business growth
- Solution-Based Sales & Deal Management
- Own the end-to-end sales and engagement process, from discovery to closing
- Develop tailored proposals and solutions, including handling RFQs, tenders, and structured client requirements
- Work closely with clients to adapt and refine solutions based on their specific needs (not one-size-fits-all)
- Coordinate internally to ensure smooth execution and delivery of solutions post-sale
- Account Growth & Relationship Management
- Build and manage strong, long-term relationships with clients
- Identify opportunities for account expansion, upselling, and cross-selling
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and repeat business
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on workforce and operational solutions
- Market Insights & Collaboration
- Gather insights on client needs, industry trends, and market opportunities
- Collaborate with Operations and internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery
- Provide feedback to improve solution offerings and client experience
- Support initiatives that drive market penetration and account development strategies
- Growth & Market Expansion Initiatives
- Support expansion into new sectors and emerging market opportunities
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and projects to grow GoGet’s presence across Malaysia and ASEAN
Who will you work with?
You will be part of GoGet’s Business Development team, working alongside a team of sales professionals focused on account growth, client relationships, and solution delivery.
You will collaborate closely with Operations teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and successful service delivery post-sale.
This is a high-performance, target-driven environment where success is defined by proactive prospecting, strong pipeline ownership, and consistent deal closure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fields
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or B2B client-facing roles
- Proven end-to-end sales experience, from prospecting to closing
- Strong account management and relationship-building skills, with focus on long-term client growth
- Experience or strong interest in solution-based / consultative selling, including handling proposals, RFQs, or tenders
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple clients and opportunities simultaneously
- Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Existing network or exposure in F&B, Retail, Grocery, Events, Logistics, or SaaS industries
- Experience in SaaS or service-based solution sales
- Proficient in lead generation using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, or similar
