Chief Financial Officer

📢 We’re Hiring: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Malaysia
📍 Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia | Hybrid

We are looking to connect with a highly accomplished, strategic and experienced #ChiefFinancialOfficer (CFO) with a strong track record in debt financing, capital structuring and multilateral financing partnerships. The ideal candidate will lead global financial strategy, manage institutional relationships and drive sustainable financial growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the structuring and execution of debt financing instruments, including syndicated loans, corporate bonds and structured finance.
Optimize capital structure, manage liquidity, cash flow forecasting and debt service obligations.
Build and maintain relationships with multilateral development banks (MDBs), international financial institutions (IFIs) and commercial lenders.
Negotiate financing terms, loan covenants and funding agreements with international financial institutions.
Oversee accounting, taxation, treasury and financial reporting in compliance with Malaysian and international standards (MFRS/IFRS).
Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors.
Establish strong internal controls, risk management frameworks and ESG compliance practices.

Requirements:
Minimum 15 years of progressive senior financial management experience, including at least 5 years in a CFO or equivalent executive role.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
Master’s degree, MBA or professional certification (CA, ACCA, CPA or CFA) highly preferred.
Proven track record in securing large-scale debt financing and managing portfolios involving multilateral financing institutions.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations, cross-border capital flows and international treasury management.
Experience working with institutions such as IFC, ADB, World Bank or Islamic Development Bank.
Exceptional negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
