🔹 Role Overview
A dynamic multinational organization with operations across Malaysia and Germany is seeking a Director of Business Development / Commercial Strategy to lead growth initiatives and drive revenue expansion across both regions. This role is central to identifying new market opportunities, strengthening commercial performance, and building strategic partnerships.
Reporting directly to the Chief Business Officer, this position plays a key role in shaping the organization’s commercial direction and ensuring sustainable, long-term growth.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute business development and commercial strategies across Malaysia and Germany
• Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams
• Lead strategic client engagement and key account development initiatives
• Drive pricing strategies, commercial models, and contract negotiations
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and finance to align growth initiatives
• Support M&A activities, partnerships, and expansion into new sectors
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and business performance metrics
🔹 Leadership Expectations
• Proven leadership experience in business development or commercial strategy roles
• Strong track record of driving revenue growth in multinational environments
• Experience managing cross-border markets and complex stakeholder networks
• Strategic mindset with strong financial and commercial acumen
• Excellent negotiation and executive communication skills
💼 Monthly Salary:
USD 75,000 – 120,000 + executive incentives + international benefits
