As a IC Intern you will support the Technical Department in development, and lab work activities related to industrial coating products. The internship aims to provide hands-on experience applying chemical and engineering principles to improve coating formulations, improve processes, and ensure product performance meets industry standards. You will be reporting to IC CD Team Leader.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the formulation and testing of industrial coating products under guidance.
- Conduct laboratory experiments to evaluate physical and chemical properties of coatings.
- Support lab work activities by performing sample analysis and data recording.
- Help in troubleshooting technical issues related to coating application and performance.
- Participate in process optimization projects to enhance product efficiency and reduce waste.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, test results, and observations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, and quality assurance.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Available for an internship period of six (6) months or longer.
- Basic understanding of chemistry principles and laboratory practices.
- Works effectively within a team environment.
- Good color vision with the ability to distinguish subtle color differences (must not be color-vision deficiency).
