The Operations and Manufacturing Intern will support business functions within the FLIT Operations and Manufacturing domain. This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to day-to-day operations, improvement initiatives, and transformation projects while developing foundational business, communication, and teamwork skills. You will be based at our Malaysia Technology Center (MYTC), the heart and pulse of our IT activities, Center of Excellence and Development.
Main Responsibilities
- Show enthusiasm and a strong willingness to learn about business processes within the FLIT Operations and Manufacturing domain.
- Support daily operational tasks, documentation, and small project activities under the guidance of senior team members.
- Collaborate with team members across different business functions to understand end-to-end processes and best practices.
- Participate in networking and knowledge-sharing activities with peers and, where appropriate, interact with Senior Management.
- Help identify improvement opportunities within the team or across process areas, such as supporting proof-of-concept activities, continuous improvement initiatives, and preparation of learning or training materials.
- Provide support to project teams on transformation initiatives, including basic master data loading, validation, reconciliation, and reporting tasks.
- Perform ad-hoc operational or administrative support activities as needed by the team.
- Assist, when opportunities arise, in system-related activities such as testing support, documentation, deployment preparation, or user training.
- Help maintain and update Global and Regional training documentation, process guide, and knowledge databases to ensure information remains accurate and up to date.
Qualifications
- Pursue a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
- Interest in operations, manufacturing, or business process improvement
- Proactive learning attitude
- Proficiency in English. Mandarin is a plus but not mandatory.
- Work well in a team environment and follow structured guidance
- Commit for a min of 6 months of internship.
