Tasks & Responsibilities
- Develop new clients and increase the sales of the company.
- Addressing and resolving complaints, planning orders, samples and working in hand in developing sales with clients.
- Collaborating with sales, logistics, R&D, Marketing to ensure that key clients’ needs are met.
- Setting goals, forecast, and marketing tools for clients.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently and effectively in a multicultural and diverse environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel.
The selected person will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies in the assigned markets to achieve the established growth and sales targets.
In addition, he/she will identify business opportunities and develop strong relationships with existing and potential customers in the sector, analysing the competition to identify new trends and growth opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree Chemistry / Food Science / Food Technology or equivalent.
- Proven sales and account management experience in chemical or related industries.
- Experience Requirements: Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in the Food Ingredients sector within the Malaysian market. Preference will be given to candidates with direct experience in selling flavors to the food industry.
- Good planning skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Good communication & interpersonal skills.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficient in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
- Possess good analytical troubleshooting & problem-solving skills.
- Advance knowledge in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Job requires to travel. Must be willing and able to travel extensively Malaysia.
