#About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux Engineer for a premier client in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will combine deep Linux operating system expertise with robust network security, advanced packet filtering, and Layer 2 network implementation experience.

#Key Responsibilities & Technical Stack:

Enterprise Linux: Act as a subject matter expert for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration, security hardening, and performance optimization (NixOS / GUIX / Immutable OS experience is a strong plus).Packet Filtering: Hands-on creation and tuning of nftables and iptables rulesets, NAT policies, and stateful inspection.Firewall amp; Security Technologies: Implementation and management of commercial firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Check Point), with exposure to threat monitoring tools (Suricata, Zeek, or Cilium) being highly advantageous.Networking: Implementation and deployment of Layer 2 Routing amp; Switching, VLANs, trunking, and network bridging.

#Candidate Profile:
Minimum 8+ years of hands-on professional experience in Linux systems engineering or network security.
Must be a Malaysian Citizen.
Available to join immediately or within a 30-day notice period.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical documentation skills.
