Responsibilities

- Support S&P Global's global indirect tax compliance processes, including VAT/GST and other transaction taxes.
- Prepare, reconcile, and submit transaction tax returns and related compliance filings as assigned.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects.
- Maintain and support monthly tax compliance metrics, reporting, and tracking tools.
- Support the Indirect Tax team in identifying and pursuing tax credit and refund opportunities through research, data collection, analysis, and documentation.
- Support and coordinate indirect tax audits, inquiries, and compliance reviews.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional projects that support the company's strategic business priorities.
- Perform system testing and validation of tax-related transactions as part of ongoing tax technology and process enhancement initiatives.
- Prepare monthly transaction tax account reconciliations and related journal entries.
- Provide timely guidance and effective support to internal stakeholders on transaction tax matters.
- Collaborate with global tax teams and cross-functional business partners to support key projects and operational priorities.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, a equivalent qualifications or relevant experience.
Experience
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in accounting, tax, or a related financial role.
- Experience in indirect taxes, including VAT/GST, is preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce, Oracle Fusion, or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
- Prior experience supporting tax compliance, audits, or tax-related projects is preferred.
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of ERP and financial reporting systems, with Oracle Fusion or SAP experience considered a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
